Noticing More: White on White

My fascination with scenes of a single colour begun when I came across Ben Nicholson’s various Reliefs. Seemingly subdued at first instance, they emphasise and play with much that we overlook. Elements such as shape, shade, hues, perspective and even depth.

It's curious how the mind can take something and run with it isn't it? There I was - gazing at the beautiful imperfections and tactile textures on our last post whilst my mind was busy deciding for me that creases are in fact - oh-so-beautiful-and-fascinating.
