"Look with all your eyes, look." Jules Verne
This is a scenario that I just happened to catch sight of on my my local high street. I walked past, and doubled back to take a quick photo. When I ask myself why, I find it difficult to explain. I am drawn to unstaged scenes found by chance that have an element of harmony about them. I like the colours and I am certain that the half-closed shutter added an air of subtlety to the sight.
It's so easy to walk around with invisible blinkers on. We tell ourselves that we are far too busy to afford the time to notice the quiet stories unfolding around us. Slowly complacency replaces our awareness and a little magic is lost.
